How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

It's an awful play on words I know, but I couldn't help myself.
So yeah, I'm writing to spread the word about the Annual Donations Drive we're doing over at Darkstar. We're hoping to finish off the year with a bit of bang at Nekocon 14 in VA in but a little while, however we could certainly use some help to do so. Now what does this have to do with my art? Well, I'm glad you asked. See, Darkstar is in need of YOUR support, dear fans, and we've even got a rewards system worked out. We'll bascially be taking Character Commission Requests (ESPECIALLY THOSE FROM OUR COMICS), based on each Donation received. The system functions as follows:

$5 Donation = One character (Sketched)

$10 Donation = Multiple characters (Sketched)

$15 Donation = Multiple characters (Colored)

Simple enough, right? If you guys have any questions, allow me to point you in the direction of Mike's official news post regarding the topic (link's at the top as the word "Annual Donations Drive"), as well as another page where he's posted a sample of some of the prize art I've already had the pleasure of working on.

I've been drawing Fajita over at Darkstar for 2 years now, so the Darkstar crew means a lot to me, and I wanna sincerely thank you guys for keeping up with it, the comics, as well as these DA newsposts, especially if you've already helped out with donating (this year, or last year). Either way, all you folks are wonderful. Thanks for all your support, no matter what shape it takes.

We've been talking about it over at Darkstar for a while now, and as it stands we're hoping to have the first manga-size book out sometime next year. The plan is to have it encompass all of Act 1, as well as contain lots of exclusive preliminary art, alternate pages, etc. I'm very excited about it actually.
